Ok, so I built a hotornot.com clone. I'm a Web programmer, how could I resist?!

But instead of posting pictures so that you can rate others' "hotness", I decided to create a way for aspiring writers to answer the question that dogs every potential author: Am I a HACK or NOT?

HACK or NOT allows you, the user, to read samples of other users' writing and give them your opinion. On a simple 1 to 10 scale, let them know whether they are closer to being a wordsmith (good writer) or a hack (bad writer). When you're ready to step up to the plate, you can submit your own writing and see how it fares.

In the near future I hope to expand the site with other features useful to up-and-coming authors and thoughtful readers. At the moment, in addition to the central function of writing evaluation, HACK or NOT also offers the The HACK or NOT Store for Writers which features useful references from Amazon.com.
